A pirate crew sails toward a sunlit island harbor in Pockie Pirate World.

Sailing and Trade

Take the adventure out to sea, where navigation and trade connect places, resources and the growth of your crew.

Being finished

The sea between destinations

A pirate adventure needs the journey between destinations to matter. Sailing and trade give the sea a place alongside towns, story battles and crew management. They connect movement with resources, and make a voyage part of the game rather than a decorative transition between unrelated menus.

The rebuild treats navigation as its own system. A map needs to show what can be reached, what still needs a battle or another requirement, and what remains unavailable. Preserved client behaviour helps us recover those distinctions without inventing a universal unlock rule from the way a location happens to look.

What is being reconstructed

Sea navigation is one of the broadest measured areas in the development inventory. It has implemented work as well as a significant unfinished portion. Trading belongs in that larger journey, where the information shown to the player and the result of an action must agree with the account state behind the screen.

The goal is a readable sequence: understand the available route, choose the intended action and see its result. That involves both game behaviour and the original style of the navigation windows. Restoring a background is useful visual work, but it does not by itself prove that a voyage, transaction or return visit works.

The route still being tested

This area remains under construction. A passing navigation test is evidence for the action it checks, not proof that every destination, trade interaction and unlock condition is finished. The progress board keeps measured implementation separate from journeys that have been exercised on the private test server.

Sailing also connects to systems with their own coverage gaps. Visit ship upgrades for the ship side of progression, or fishing and cooking for the All Blue activity. The method page explains why those areas cannot all inherit one sea-navigation percentage.
