Devil Fruits
Follow a distinctive character-development system, with selection, ownership and resource changes kept in step.
Being finished
A different development choice
Devil Fruits belong to a distinct part of the crew-development experience. Their place in a character build should be understandable through the right screen and the right rules, rather than inferred from a portrait or borrowed from another growth system. The reconstruction treats that identity as part of the work.
A guide written during development needs to be careful about detail. We can describe the system and the work being done without inventing a complete catalogue of acquisition routes, costs or outcomes. A recovered item record alone does not prove how an ordinary player obtains it or when its use becomes available.
What has been implemented
Devil Fruits are one of the measured delivery areas, with a large implemented portion and some unfinished behaviour. Recent reconstruction work has included the relationship between a purchase or result and the fruit state shown afterward. The information on screen needs to reflect the actual owned state rather than a successful-looking message alone.
That includes handling a later read of the account and a return to the window. A player should be able to tell what they own after an action, including when part of the refresh sequence does not work as expected. Development checks cover particular response and state cases, while the whole player journey remains a separate acceptance step.
What is still being checked
The progress badge does not mean every fruit, acquisition route and character interaction is ready. Remaining checks need to connect the correct unlock, a valid action, its resource effect and the result retained by the account. We keep unsupported details out of this guide rather than turn gaps into a strategy recommendation.
See crew and tavern for the wider crew journey, or compare Haki and Shadows for other development systems. The progress board records the current measured work and links to the caveats behind it.
