Guardian Beasts

Restore a companion system with its own growth and interactions, rather than folding it into ordinary crew recruitment.

Being finished

Companions with a separate identity

Guardian Beasts are part of the wider set of systems being reconstructed around the crew. They need a distinct guide because their interface and progression should not be inferred from tavern recruitment or another companion screen. Similar-looking controls do not establish that two systems share the same rules.

Our public overview stays at that level where detailed evidence is incomplete. We do not invent a list of guaranteed rewards, growth values or unlock conditions to make the page feel finished. The original client and preserved mechanics evidence remain the starting point for deciding what each interaction should do.

What is in the measured inventory

The measured companion behaviours include hatching and selecting a pet, feeding and training it, and managing skill slots and inheritance. The battle-side checks also distinguish the pet’s action and Fury from the crew’s own actions. Some details remain unresolved, so these implemented pieces are not a claim that every companion-growth route has passed ordinary play.

The work is more than drawing the companion. The relevant window must present the current state, offer the valid action and show its result consistently. Growth-related actions also need to agree with the owned account after the window is reopened. A single prepared state cannot prove all of those relationships.

What remains uncertain

Some source and testing questions remain open in this area. We therefore avoid treating a complete-looking screen as proof that every Guardian Beast interaction is ready. Component checks help locate progress, but normal access, valid resources and a retained result still need to form one connected player journey.

The crew and tavern guide explains the separate recruitment system, while Shadows and Haki cover other growth areas. Visit the progress board for the latest measured Guardian Beast status, and the FAQ for the current position on public access and future announcements.
